Pavitra Rishta 2.0: Besides Sushant Singh Rajput This Ankita Lokhande Starrer Won’t See One More Actor In The Upcoming Season
Pavitra Rishta 2.0 is all set to make a comeback in digital work. Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput, one more character will be replaced from the original cast
TV show Pavitra Rishta made Ankita Lokhande and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput into household names. Though the show ended in 2014, the audience enjoyed its re-runs. Also as per reports, the digital version is in the making, this version will be missing the two most important characters. As per reports in Pinkvilla.com senior actress Usha Nadkarni won’t be seen on the show. She portrayed Savita Tai, Sushant's on-screen mother. She left everyone impressed with her performance, but the actress won’t be continuing with the show.
The actress herself confirmed that she won’t be part of the upcoming season owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Also, her family is worried as she is 77 and diabetic, they don't want her to put her life at risk. She told the portal, “No, I am not doing that. Because of the Covid scare, my family doesn’t let me step out of the house. I am old, and I have diabetes too. In fact, I was a part of Marathi Bigg Boss for 77 days and was called to be a part of the Hindi version of the show, too, for 15 days.”
She adds, “Everything was finalized, but then my son asked me not to participate in it, as one never knows from where you can get infected.”
